2 weeks...2 weeks...2 WEEKS!!!

I think my obsession may have reached a new high...every time I talk with one Renee Cassel, I get even more pumped up!!  I am sending notice that I will NOT sit by anyone who wants to talk during the midnight movie.  Seriously...not kidding here.  I will chat when we go again on Friday or during any of the other viewings the next week, but midnight...shush!!  I want to take it all in...I am really over the top excited!!!  Enough said about that.

Now, I have been told by one wolf girl that I am "neglecting" you Team Jacob friends.  That is not my intention...I am just so totally about Edward that I tend to forget the young Mr. Black.  So, thanks, Angie, for keeping me aware of your wolfie needs.  So how's this...

Ok, news from Eclipse.  FEARnet had an interview with Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter for Twilight and New Moon.  I think she is for Eclipse as well.   Read...

In your script for Twilight, you wrote in a number of direct quotes from Stephenie Meyer’s book. Can we expect the same in New Moon and Eclipse?  (uh...there darn well better be!!  Especially one that ends in 'blasphemy' or I am going to be very unhappy!!)

There are definitely some quotes sprinkled throughout. In some cases I’m paraphrasing, but I do try to include as many as I can. It’s very important. It brings the flavor of the book into the movie, so I definitely try to.   (hmmm...I don't think I like paraphrasing.  But I will withhold judgment...she did come up with the whole 'You can Google it...' line for Twilight)


 Did the proposal scene make it into New Moon?  (oh it better have...that's all I'm saying)
The proposal comes into the end of New Moon, and that is the first proposal. Absolutely in Eclipse, the proposal when they’re on the bed, yes -- to me, that was a quintessential scene from the book (amen to that...really, one of the most swoon worthy scenes EVER!!!). When Edward gets on his knees, with his mother’s ring, and she says yes -- that was one of the most romantic scenes that Stephenie wrote in all four books.
